Tropical thoughts are running through my head with this kaleidoscopic Marks and Spencer Per Una shirt dress, mixing up exotic birds; flora and fauna to pack a punch of colour.
As a kid the word tropical simply meant a can of Lilt (with that oh so memorable strap line) and a Bounty (always a blue bar, shared between a family of 4). I had no concept of where tropical actually was on the world wide map but boy oh boy did I want to go there. Alas it was Judith Chalmers who always bagged the best white sand trips, leaving me at home flicking through BBC Ceefax.
