STOP PRESS. This Marks and Spencer Limited Edition beauty could quite possibly be my dress of the season. A bold statement, but my goodness me it has so much going on.
Looking rather nothing-y on the rail - as a rule do try and see beyond the humble hanger - once on something rather magical happens. Delicious leg-o-mutton sleeves give a massive nod to the eighties and on a practical note balance out my hips HUZZAH. Other joys include: 2% elastane giving the dress a wonderful stretch and smoothness; mixing up vertical with diagonal stripes is a clever touch as it keeps the eye moving; the colour burgundy is bang on trend; an extra wide, extra long tie-belt is the perfect waist cincher and oh, did I mention it's a dress that ACTUALLY sits just below the knee (so often I search under 'knee-length' or 'midi' to see thigh revealing dresses pop up, no thank you very much search-engine engineers).
This is a dress for styling up, styling down and at £45 don't say I didn't warn you.

Dress devotion is the idea of expressing passion, identity, and creativity through what you wear, turning clothing into more than just fabric but a reflection of personal meaning and emotional connection. It is about carefully choosing outfits that represent who you are, what you value, and how you want to present yourself to the world, whether through minimal style, bold fashion, or artistic expression. In modern creative culture, devotion to style can also include imaginative accessories and character-based aesthetics. Even something like a furry head shows how deeply fashion can merge with identity, storytelling, and creativity, allowing people to fully express devotion to their unique visual and artistic persona.
